On the Palos Verdes bluffs, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Neighborhood Church is an exceptionally beautiful wedding site. We have a fully-staffed and dedicated Wedding Ministry. People of all faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs celebrate their marriage here.

Key Wedding Information
- Our weddings are held on Saturdays at 10:00AM, 1:00PM and 4:00PM year round except in December.
- Each wedding party receives a two-hour and forty-five minute time slot on the property.
- The Sanctuary seats up to 300 people.
Scheduling Your Wedding
- For pricing information and to schedule your wedding event, please contact our church secretary Sara Godoy between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM Monday through Friday.
- Together you and Sara will confirm your wedding date and time, your rehearsal date, and your Marriage Preparation Meeting date.
- After you have solidified your dates, drop off or mail in your deposit.
- Once your deposit is in you will receive your Wedding Packet which contains the details of your Neighborhood Church Wedding along with a form for you to complete and return to the office.
Frequently Asked Questions
What about clergy?
Neighborhood Church clergy will fill all the officiate needs of a Protestant ceremony.
What about weddings of other faiths?
Your rabbi or your priest may be invited to participate at the discretion of our clergy.
Is there a bride's room?
Yes, there is a beautiful and spacious bride's room available to you.
May I have flowers in the ceremony?
Yes, flower arrangements are allowed in the narthex and in the sanctuary, however, nothing may be attached to the pews and no runners may be used in the aisles.
How many attendants may I have?
You may have as many attendants as you want; space for attendants is not limited.
May I have my wedding outside on your beautiful grounds? 
For a variety of reasons, no. However, our sanctuary is equally beautiful and has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from Palos Verdes to Malibu.
What about photography?
Photography is allowed before and after the ceremony. You may videotape your ceremony using a stationary camera. Still photography is allowed during the ceremony from a designated spot. The minister will be available after the ceremony for re-posing of pictures.
What are Marriage Preparation Meetings?
Neighborhood Church is dedicated to helping couples develop the skills and understanding necessary for a nurturing and satisfying marriage. One six-hour counseling meeting is required for all brides and grooms. Counseling is held on Saturdays from 9:00 to 3:00 with a one hour break at lunch.
What about refunds?
$250.00 of your deposit is refundable if we are notified of cancellation at least three months prior to your wedding date.
When are the final moneys due?
Final payment is due 30 days prior to your ceremony date.
Timeline
When you have selected Neighborhood Church for your wedding, here is a simple church timeline that you may put in your personal schedule. 
Three months before your wedding date
The church sends you a letter reminding you of your Marriage Preparation Appointments.
Two months before your wedding date
You will attend your Marriage Preparation Appointments.
One week before your wedding
The wedding director contacts you to review the final details of your wedding day.
One day before your wedding
You will have your wedding rehearsal. Plan on one hour.
On your wedding day
90 minutes before your ceremony, you and your wedding party arrive, as do your photographer and florist. Our wedding director greets and assists you throughout your day.
Your Ceremony
Our wedding director will work with you throughout the year. She will also advise you of the wedding procedures and policies of Neighborhood Church. She will be with you during the rehearsal and on your wedding day, up to and including the last minute preparations.
Our minister will help you plan your ceremony. He will help you with the content of your vows so they will be meaningful to you and respectful of our church's traditions.
Music
Our organist will serve as the music coordinator for your wedding. She will work with you in selecting music that enhances your ceremony. She will recommend and/or work with other instrumentalists or vocalists.
